Happy Loy Kratong Festival
27-29 November 2012
ITM students and teachers enjoyed making 'kratong' together at the end of the class. They then floated the 'kratong' on the river as an ancient paying respect to the water goddess and to float away the sadness and bad lucks from their lives.
Loy means 'to float', and Kratong is the lotus-shaped container traditionally made of the trunk of banana tree, banana leaves folded into the shape of lotus petals and flowers. Incense sticks, a candle and a small coin are also included as an offering to the river goddess.

CAPT students received a lecture by Master Boonchu (the most knowledgeable Master) on the ancient Healing Arts of Northern Thailand on Ched Hak – Yam Kang – Tok Sen and experience giving and receiving a short massage on each of the modalities.

Thai Massage Training for Disadvantaged Students
15-16 September 2012
CAPT students presented a workshop teaching Thai foot reflexology massage to 56 disadvantaged Thai students at Suksa Song Kroh school.
In this occasion, ITM donated 2 foot massage chairs for Suksa Song Kroh school. The children can use the chairs to practice Thai foot reflexology massage and to give services to customers during the weekend.
The school houses almost 1,000 students who are hill tribes and orphans. The CAPT students talk about this trip as one of the most enjoyable experiences during their visit to Chaing Mai.
