Joint training in Singapore
21-29 December 2010
ITM and Spa Wellness School, Singapore conducted a joint training in Thai massage and a workshop in SEN Sumana Enhancing. This was the third successful class after the two schools agreed on the joint training in 2009.

Workshop on the Ancient Healing Arts of Northern Thailand

CAPT students received a lecture by Master Boonchu (the most knowledgeable Master) on the ancient Healing Arts of Northern Thailand on Ched Hak Yam Kang Tok Sen and experience giving and receiving a short massage on each of the modalities.

ITM School and Spa Mantra welcomed visitors from vocational schools in Italy organized by Department of Export Promotion (DEP). Among them is the President of CONI : the Italian National Olympic Committee of Palermo.

Thai Massage Training for Disadvantaged Students

CAPT students presented a workshop teaching Thai massage to 40 disadvantaged Thai students at Suksa Song Kroh school.
The school houses almost 1,000 students who are hill tribes and orphans. The CAPT students talk about this trip as one of the most enjoyable experiences during their visit to Chiang Mai.

Spending the day at Taweechol Botanical Garden and Horizon Village CAPT students learnt about the healing benefits of their various herbs enjoying the experience of riding a bicycle around the garden.

ITM trained massage therapists of the Thai Spa in Kolkata, India

After completion of the training these therapists will be working in the new branches of the Thai Spa all over the major cities in India.
Study Anatomy Cadaver Lab at Chiang Mai University

CAPT students visited the Chiang Mai University Anatomy cadaver lab and received a lecture from the professors on Human Anatomy in relationship to Thai Massage.

ITM & Spa Mantra Training in the Netherlands

ITM & Spa Mantra taught Tok Sen ancient Thai therapy and Aroma herbal oil massage courses at Sabaaydi Massage School, Heeze, the Netherlands.
This is the second year of successful training of ITM & Spa Mantra in cooperation with Sabaaydi Massage School. There are 43 students attending the courses.

Chiangmai International Health Promotion Meeting 3rd "Experience Natural Balance with Lanna Culture"

ITM & Spa Mantra attended Chiangmai International Health Promotion Meeting 3rd “Experience Natural Balance with Lanna Culture”. Master Chongkol Setthakorn and Kate Setthakorn were the guest speakers, among the directors of massage schools and experts on traditional Thai massage, spa healthcare field. The meeting was held for the 3rd year at the Empress Convention Center on 2-3 July, 2010 and was organized by Chiang Mai Province and Chiang Mai Office of Commercial Affairs.
